Reopening After Lockdown - Again!! Sivill Service Update
Once again as Lockdown restrictions ease here in the UK we are once again open for business!!!! These are scary times for us all as we take the first tentative steps towards life in the new normal. Along with other non-essential businesses we reopened our doors this week.
Life for everyone has been tough over the last 18months but for those in business it has brought untold stress, worry and uncertainty. We worked with the BBC on a charity campaign called Make A Difference - Give A Laptop during Lockdown to help provide IT equipment to school children in need within our local community. The support we had was amazing. Like many small business owners though we now ask for the community to step up and support us now that restrictions have eased and non-essential shops open their doors.
We reopened our doors on Monday for the first time in months allowing customers to actually enter the shop once again rather than just dropping donations at the door! We opened the door and waited..... so it was quieter than we expected but we waited..... All week we waited to see customers that had not been able to come see us. In times like this were the economy is restarting the small shops need the most support.
We ask that everyone planning on visiting us follows current Covid-19 guidelines to protect everyone and reduce the spread of this awful virus. We have markers for 2m on the floor, we ask customers to keep their distance, we have screens in place, all ask that everyone except those exempt wear a mask and please use the sanitizer provided where appropriate. We have an NHS QR code displayed in store too.
